15 years ago my nephew gifted me this website/blog and has been maintaining it ever since.  We had a couple of issues that needed to be updated, so I am finally stepping up to take some responsibility. Craig helped me move the site and do the updates, and my goal (as it has been for 15 years) is to learn more about WordPress and keep things update.   With Craig’s input!  Thanks Craig. The site should work as normal now but may look slightly different.

Things are changing in Wisconsin.  Trees are changing and nights are getting cold.   That means it is time to head south.   I had my last round of golf for 2026, in Wisconsin. The end of summer was fun.   In August MJ flew in to spend a couple of days with Marie and Chris and I got away to Milwaukee for Irishfest.  We had a great time with friends and our first days on our own this year.   I have had a chance to brew a couple of batches of beer with Mark, and we had a number of times out with old friends.   I had a number of rounds of golf in August and September, including a chance to take up an invitation from my cousin Joe to golf a chamber of commerce outing.   It was good to have the chance to spend a little time with him. Chris and I did a couple of cooking classes at a local winery,  good food and wine what could be wrong.   Overall, a good summer.   Marie has struggled at times with some confusion, and we are worried 5 days on the road back to Snug Harbor may be tough on her.    We hope when she settles back into her condo things will be OK,   we will have to see.  We left Sunday October 3 to Champaign Urbana Illinois.  We landed after a Packers win and got to see the Brewers win game 2.
